Our Wooden Beds Materials
Our range of wooden contemporary beds and furniture are constructed from engineered wood and designed for durability. Each item is finished with a real wood veneer (walnut, natural walnut or oak) or in our white-satin lacquered finish.
Please note that with our natural walnut finish we can not guarantee an exact match between all our natural walnut products as there may be a slight variation in the natural finish.
Our headboards all feature the same engineered hardwood core, however, are available in a range of finishes. Apart from the veneer finish we offer a range of beds that feature a faux leather covering, this material has a matte finished and is designed to look like leather whilst being far easier to maintain and clean.
It is not just the materials used to make our beds and accessory range that we are proud of; we have spent time ensuring the construction process is as efficient as possible and can be completed with only a limited knowledge of furniture construction. If you're looking for a stylish contemporary bed then you're sure to find something for your home within our range.
All our contemporary range beds (excluding the platform beds Harmonia and Emer) feature sprung slat bases. Sprung slats are a very popular choice in beds as the curved slats adjust to support weight where the most pressure is applied. All our beds are double sprung, where two sets of sprung slats are supported by a central rail, this means their is no central dip so you don't roll together and as you are both individually supported you won't be disturbed when your partner gets in and out of bed.
